Think Long-term With HCG Drops For Weight Loss

If you want to get real results with HCG drops, it is a must that you stick to the diet protocol TO THE LETTER. I got an e-mail last week from a person who was claiming that he was only able to lose around 0.4 lbs per day, which was not what he expected. I asked whether there was anything he was doing against the HCG weight loss protocol like using fatty ointments, forbidden medications such as skin oils and so on. I also came up with the question if he was following the diet schedule as outlined. When he got back to me, he said he had been making serious mistakes by taking an acne medication (with a high amount of fat in some form) and also, he said he hadn’t (on some days) followed the VLCD (very low calorie diet) precisely, he had increased the daily caloric intake to about 600 calories. This was 100 cal more than he was supposed to eat. You may be tempted to think that it is not such a big problem, but with HCG weight loss drops and while being on HCG diet in general…

It can be disastrous! In fact, 100 excess calories per day can make you GAIN weight. That’s why HCG diet is not for everyone, especially not for people who are not willing to take it seriously and stick with what they are supposed to do. Another example of how easy it is to break the rules is taking the mentioned fatty ointments. These should be avoided completely, and if this is not possible, the diet might not be for you. Don’t get me wrong, HCG diet is AMAZING so long as you take it seriously and do and eat as you ought to. I don’t know of any other diet that can help people lose the abnormal fat so quickly and especially, permanently. Yes, some weight usually comes back after you have finished a round, but the key is to be measuring it. Dr. Simeons in his “Pounds and Inches” suggests you weigh yourself daily in the morning, and if there is a 2-pound increase of weight, you should see a doctor, but…

HCG Drops + Proper Diet = Weight Loss

Sometimes this is not doable, especially if you are taking the non-rx HCG drops. By that I mean you probably don’t have any health care HCG diet specialist whom you can visit so that he can help you with the weight coming back. Let me give you an example; a man (let’s call him Joe) has a weight of 200 lbs and wants to lose to achieve his weight loss goal, which is 175 lbs. Joe wants to get these results within one mere round, which is, by the way, possible, even normal. He decides to take the homeopathic HCG diet drops. After round 1, he is down to 170 lbs and feels great (by the way, a 30-pound weight loss within one round is also not anything special). He is super excited about that and starts phase 4 of the diet, which is the post-weight-loss phase where the swath of foods you can eat is much more wider than during the diet. In Phase 4 you also don’t take any HCG drops. The only two things to avoid is starch and carbs in general. Joe then one morning with surprise finds out that he has gained 2 pounds after one night. There are several reason for that, some of them are…

For example eating too salted foods the previous day (that makes your body retain more water, which leads to an illusory weight gain). After finding out, Joe starts to panic and decides to fast the whole day. The following day in the morning he discovers that he’s gained another pound, eventhough he was starving the previous day.

Always Think Long-Term On The HCG Diet

Why am I telling you this? Because I want to point out one very important thing; the one-day results are not that important in the long run and I believe that if you stick to the rules and the so-called code of the HCG diet properly, you are very likely not to have any problems, just by doing so. This way you also decrease possible side effects. Whether you are in round 1, 2, 3, phase 1, 2, 3 or 4, whether you are taking HCG drops or HCG injections, always try to think long-term, because this diet is all about living by the rules.
